We’re over 50%! LETS GET IT!
It’s January 24th, 2012 and we are at 54% with 22 days left for this campaign. I am so grateful for the wonderful people who have pledged for me already! WOOHOO! You ROCK! I know the last couple of months have been tough for folks, but even throughout the holidays and those tough winter bills, I have received all kinds of pledges. I am truly blessed to have so many beautiful people like you all in my corner. Pass on the word folks! PLEDGE PLEDGE PLEDGE! We’re past the 50% mark that is AWESOME! LETS GO!
To pump up the fundraising efforts and to get folks hyped about the project, we are hosting a fundraising cocktail party on February 4th, at The Tap and Parlour on 11th and U Streets, NW Washington, DC at 4pm. Bring your energy and a couple of people to pledge too!

In the latest news of Akua’s musical career, the movement does not STOP! So promotions and gigging are 2 of the most important parts of being a musician and I have been running crazy doing both. Lol! I am so fortunate to have had some amazing writers and producers be interested in my work.
